We're currently looking for a General Manager to work as part of our core team in our head office based out of Toronto, Canada.
Roles and responsibilities:
Manage AskforTask's P&L and drive profitability for the company
Achieve growth goals - Tasks, activations, revenue
Strengthen and grow the Tasker community via events, promotions, communications, and training
Build the customer base through online/offline marketing
Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor performance
Hire and lead a team of high performing talent
Lead a successful execution of launch in the US and international market
Identify and lead external funding for the company
7+ years of strategic operating experience
Past experience in management companies like (McKinsey etc) or big 4 is a big bonus
Past experience in initiating and scaling start-up required (Marketplace start up a bonus)
Experience working in strategy, organizational design, process optimization and go-to-market strategy
Experience scaling an organization and managing people
Entrepreneurial spirit with a get-it-done attitude a MUST
