Purpose

The Global Fixed Income Team is looking for an energetic and result-oriented QA Developer to work on development of test tools and methodologies, design and documentation of test cases, and testing automation. The incumbent will be working with BA and DEV teams in an agile setting, and be expected to maintain continuous communication channels with all technology groups involved. The successful candidate must have solid hands-on expertise in building automated testing frameworks and experience in testing of complex applications. Experience with Capital Markets technology would be considered a strong advantage.

Key Accountabilities:
Work with Fixed Income Dev and BA teams to design and document test cases to test complex pricing and auto-negotiation applications
Develop new test tools and methodologies and enhance existing ones
Look to automate testing and test results validation
Continually acquire and enhance knowledge of the Fixed Income Technology space, especially as it relates to test methodology
Not only work in a highly collaborative environment, but also come up with the ideas to further promote collaboration within the organization.

Key Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in automated application testing, designing and documenting test cases and methodologies, development of test tools, and log analysis
Minimum 4 years of experience with DB query languages (SQL, etc)
Minimum 2 years of experience with programming languages like Java, Scala, and/or Python; Working knowledge of functional programming is a plus.
Must be familiar within Linux/Windows and/or cloud platforms
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be a team player.
Knowledge of Capital Markets processes and products would be considered a strong plus
Experience with Messaging Bus technologies like MQ, JMS, Solace, or Kafka would be considered a plus
Hands-on Experience with DevOps practices and pipelines would be an asset
Computer Science degree or equivalent
