About the Role
The Clinical Counsellor will be based out of our Women's Adult Intensive Treatment Centre to provide group and individual psychotherapy, therapeutic interventions, psychological assessments and reports. Completes treatment plans for residents following clinically sound assessment procedures; including psychometric assessments, using standardized instruments to determine mental health, stage of addiction and recovery, and to evaluate any further referrals, interventions or needs on a case by case basis.
Position: Part Time (16 hours per week)
Compensation: $35.71-$41.65 per hour.
Indirect Compensation

Qualifications
Education and experience
- Masters degree in psychology, social work, counselling or related field.

Minimum five years experience working in addiction and mental health.

A minimum of two years delivering psychotherapeutic counselling to individuals and groups at a recognized institution.

Registration with professional association.

- Excellent oral, written, facilitation and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with program staff, volunteers, and non-profit and government groups, agencies and organizations.
