The Role:
The Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of company administration.

The Tasks:
Take all incoming telephone calls and faxes; forward them accordingly
Respond to telephone, email and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners and other parties
Arrange travel bookings via approved providers, distribute tickets to staff, and post expenses to the summary sheet
Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including packages, courier services and other correspondence, and manages postage machine
Order business cards, coffee and office supplies; ensure stock is maintained
Receive and distribute all forms of paper correspondence
Organize, maintain, and co-ordinate office records and files in their proper locations

The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):
High school diploma or an acceptable combination of education and experience
Three or more years of direct work experience as a receptionist
Strong knowledge of general office procedures related to procurement, travel arrangements, budget management, etc.

The Preferred Qualifications:
Able to write simple correspondence, including memos, letters, etc.
Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
Strong writing and verbal communication skills – able to communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization and the executive team
Strong customer-service orientation
