Responsible for ensuring consistent methodologies, processes and programs are in place for data services which compliments all other services provided by the branch. Responsible for ensuring that all services are managed in an effective and efficient manner to provide business value and follow defined best practices. Leads the efforts to provide efficient and reliable data services to software development and product design. Accountable for creating the technology strategy for supporting an evolving data service within the branch. Assist project teams in the execution and testing of data integration plans. May play different roles within various projects, such as technical lead, solution architect, and advisor.

Establish technologies, standards, processes and procedures for the data services area
Lead the effort for the delivery of data services that meet client’s requirements
Enable a work environment that promotes customer service, quality, innovation and teamwork
Perform troubleshooting of complex system integration issues and propose solution to address them
Provide coaching, technical direction and mentorship to develop capabilities within the practice
Assist with smooth transition of data services from project to support team
Participate in staff selection and performance management reviews
Document and demonstrates solutions by developing presentations, documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

Qualifications:Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years of progressive data and system integration development experience
5+ years of experience as technology lead
Experience in design and development of scalable and secured web services that integrate with other technologies in service oriented architecture
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership others

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with tools like Tibco, Informatica, NodeJS and/or FME
Experience with Transact-SQL and MS SQL databases will be considerate an asset
Experience with cloud technologies/architecture and application design considerations
Experience with microservice and API technology would be considered an asset
Oil and Gas related work experience would be considered an asset
Experience with agile development methodologies and shared services design
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties

Able to work remotely while we are in a Covid-19 pandemic response
Have access to personal devices (e.g. computer/laptop)
High speed internet connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps for downloads and 5 Mbps for uploads
