We invite you to join a growing, dynamic and always innovating team at Wello as our Digital Marketing Specialist! This Calgary based role will plan and deliver various marketing initiatives and sales support to contribute to the overall business objectives. This position will require you to be a key member of a strategic marketing team driving revenue growth in a start-up phase of new service execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: proposal writing, sales support, content development, community management, and event execution. Experience in the healthcare industry, as well as B2B marketing is preferred.

Content Development

  • Develop strategic quarterly and annual content plans that align with corporate goals
  • Prepare and develop written content for newsletter articles, social media content and blog posts, web pages and sales collateral
  • Website content management including the development of new pages and updating existing content
  • Work with broader teams to create and share content cross-platforms
  • Content focusing on lead generation and brand awareness
  • Support manage and/or write RFP responses
  • Prepare written content for newsletter articles, social media content and blog posts, web pages and sales collateral
  • Support the management of sales collateral and client management collateral
  • Website management including the development of new pages and updating existing content. Experience with CMS applications (WordPress).
  • Work with broader teams to create and share content cross-platforms
  • Support and customize client specific launch material.

Digital development

  • Email marketing campaign development and execution
  • Development and support of the CRM. Experience with CRMs (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Management of website content (experience with WordPress)

Marketing data analysis

  • Manage marketing data dashboards / analytics / reports
  • Experience with Google Analytics and social media analytics

Core Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business or a related field including marketing, advertising or communications.
  • 2-3+ years demonstrated work experience
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to write for a variety of platforms (proposals, web, technical, blog, articles)
  • Strong social media platform audience development skills (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Strong Project Management skills and ability to manage a variety of marketing initiatives with support from internal marketing team, freelance/consultants, Business Development team
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management tools), website CMS (Content Management Systems) and data analysis
  • High-performing self-starter, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with a variety of marketing initiatives i.e. content marketing, graphic design, web/digital marketing, brand management, event management

Reports to: Marketing and Digital Experience Manager

Employment: Full-time, 1 year contract, possibility of extension to permanent.
