Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a CYBERSECURITY POLICY ANALYST to join our team! Reporting to the Manager, Cybersecurity program. You will be responsible for driving the creation of documentation methodology and framework for Cybersecurity’s Governance, Risk and Compliance. Support the Cybersecurity and IT Governance, Risk and Compliance program‘s review, and monitoring of policies and standards. Policy Analyst develops policy recommendations in order to align the Enterprise requirements and IT strategic goals and objectives. The Policy Analyst makes recommendations to management based on the findings of those analyses.

Accountabilities:
Develop, implement and maintain cybersecurity Policies, Standards, Guidance, & processes to support the execution of cybersecurity programs.

Develop appropriate illustrative materials, diagrams and charts, and other formal security processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Communicate security policies, standards, technical specifications, guidance, and instructions to a wide range of IT stakeholders.

Work with other stakeholders on new or modifications changes with policy or standard requirements.

Maintain awareness and knowledge of current changes within legal, regulatory and technology environments which may affect Allstate operations.

Identify gaps and conflicts in enterprise and local cybersecurity policy and governance guidance and make recommendations to address these areas.

Perform analysis of cybersecurity policy and assessments and provide recommendations as required.

Inform senior management and staff of security policy changes and updates in a timely manner.

Work with diverse professional staff, including security advisors, architects, and IT professionals, developers and project managers to ensure security. requirements are incorporated throughout the development life cycle.

Conduct cyber-related research, analysis and coordination activities to support the cybersecurity strategy.

Perform other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications & Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Audit or equivalent education or work experience.

5+ years of broad information technology policy experience or governance experience for a large organization.

Experience in developing IT and security policy frameworks, and policy & standard development.

Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to participate in workshops with effectively building relationships and influencing decisions.

Excellent in project management, analytical and problem solving skills.

Knowledge of IT governance and policy frameworks.

Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate skills to achieve high performance and excellent service.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CISA are preferred.
