Why SQN?
SQN is a private after-school enrichment center, providing educational programs for students as young as 2 years old and as old as 12 years of age. We differ from other institutions in many areas, including but not limited to the following:
1) Programs are categorized by student age groups and the teacher placement for each program is based on their relevant experience and expertise.
2) Learning areas are designed with the specific age groups in mind, resulting in a facility that is catered to the different developmental needs of the students (e.g., open activity space, age-specific furniture, etc.).
3) Educators work as a team, supporting each other in program planning, program delivery, individual student support, learning space set-up, and more. Creativity and collaboration are the foundation of the Education Team.
4) Class size is deliberately small but intimate, resulting in higher student engagement and smoother classroom management.
5) Involvement from families is encouraged and is maintained through a systematic online communication channel.
Rather than having a set curriculum, educators at SQN utilize their creativity and understanding of their students to establish clear learning objectives and plan and deliver programs that are not only fun and engaging, but also relevant to the world around us.
Just like the learning environment for students, the working environment requires educators to be innovative, organized, and resourceful.
