We are looking for a highly motivated Online Content and Marketing Assistant for our organization that will be based in our Delta Office. The Online Content and Marketing Assistant reports to the VP Marketing and is responsible for both producing and assisting the development of content for digital, print and video media in the social media efforts for the achievement of sales targets, marketing initiatives and brand recognition. This role also supports online digital and offline print content creation for Key Marketing Channels, including Online Streaming Video, social media posts, blogging. Streaming video is a focus for the company, and the Marketing Assistant will be an integral part of this initiative.

Experience, Education and Training Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree specializing in Marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient with Social Media Tools, HTML, WordPress and SEO
  • Working knowledgeable and proficient with Adobe products, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premier
  • Exposure to creating video content, including comfortable being both behind and on-camera
  • Forward-thinking, organized, highly collaborative and results orientated
  • Creative and innovative
  • Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Positive outlook and takes pride in accomplishments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editorial copywriting and presentation skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment and positively communicate with members of other departments, Office peers and customers
  • Proficient in the MS Office package, including Windows, Word, Outlook and Excel

Salary: $48,000.00 to $53,000.00 /year
