YARD SHUNTER
Midland Transport is currently seeking a Yard Shunter based at our Terminal located in Dorval, QC. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.
Qualifications:
- Driving experience with a class 1 license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding job functions
- Ability to work positively with others toward common goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Shunting inbound and outbound trailers as needed
- Complete appropriate paperwork
- Inspecting and preparing equipment for loading
- Monitoring temperature control of loaded trailers
- Preparing and reporting shift equipment inventories
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Evening and night shifts
- Full time, 8 hours per day
