As an Account Manager, you will bring your extensive experience in working with doctors, executive directors, family health teams and BC health teams to help grow the adoption of our industry-leading EMR solutions.



You're the missing piece of the puzzle



Here is how you will contribute to the team’s success:


  • As a tech savvy individual, you believe in leveraging technology to improve physician and patient interaction to enhance clinical workflows
  • High comfort level in group and one-on-one presentation environments
  • Self-starter who can manage a wide variety of projects and lead request for proposal (RFP) process in your territory, including: opportunity assessment and qualification; conduct scoping/validation; develop RFP response
  • Works very well in a team environment
  • A track record of consistent achievement in the healthcare sales space, general practice and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is an asset
  • Develop account plans for key prospects and designated accounts
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction to drive real and long-standing business values to make TELUS 100% referenceable
  • Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization, upholding the values/behaviors of a leader in the business and extended community
  • Develop prospects through networking, attending and participating in trade shows and conferences, public speaking and other sources

Qualifications


Required experience:


  • 3 to 5 years successful sales experience in healthcare industry in Canada, preferably in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) industry
  • University degree
  • Experience in regular dealings with physicians and clinical providers
  • Record of achievement in successfully meeting sales objectives
  • Demonstrated success in executing on account plans with strong ownership
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to travel in support of territory plans
  • Experienced in selling SaaS within healthcare considered an asset
  • You are an experienced sales “hunter,”proactively identifying prospects and turning them into opportunities and sales, leveraging face- to- face sales and digital prospecting.
  • Recognized for your ability to drive results through building trust and loyalty, resulting in solid relationships with key decision -makers and strategic alliances


Great-to-haves


  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent custom relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Tech savvy
  • Professional Sales certification(s) is an asset
  • An entrepreneurial spirit which will drive passionate ownership and responsibility for the business
  • Tenacity, resilience and leadership that enables you to overcome challenges and create solutions
  • Self awareness with the ability to give, take and act on feedback in a positive way
