Scotiabank’s Information Security & Control (IS&C)’s Cybersecurity Awareness and Training team is responsible for advising business lines, subsidiaries, affiliates, and customers about cybersecurity threats and best practices to ensure Scotiabankers remain safe while online.
The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Training, will be responsible for training employees to help cultivate skills and drive cybersecurity awareness across the Bank globally. The candidate will report into the Director, Cybersecurity Awareness, Training, and Communications, and will manage all mandatory training courses, training presentations, programs, and develop new cybersecurity learning materials for the global Bank audience. The candidate will also ensure that all business requirements and outcomes further align to Scotiabank’s strategic objectives.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?
You possess advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills in English. The same in Spanish is a strong asset.
You have at least 5+ years of corporate training experience, and can plan, develop, and execute training materials in various formats.
You have at least 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience in cybersecurity.
You have advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative applications (Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or in a related field.
Certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CRISC) are nice to have.
