Hopewell Residential currently has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Community Sales Manager to join our team.
The Community Sales Manager is responsible for managing their assigned sales area, and supporting the sales team, to maximize sales revenues in achieving corporate objectives. This position will report directly to the Sales Manager.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager, to establish and recommend sales goals for assigned territory;
Identify, and support the implementation of program(s) to train, coach, and reward sales team;
Take an active role in developing, and maintaining client relationships to support business development opportunities;
Remain current on financial sales data and inventory related to territory;
Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue figures;
Present quarterly sales results to senior management, and sales team(s);
In collaboration with the Director of Sales, develop sales strategies to increase market share and maximize revenue growth;
Design tracking metric(s) to evaluate the short and long-term impact of various sales strategies on profits;
Identify and formulate sales policies, best practices and procedures to helps support the sales team in maximizing their potential;
Support and assist sales team in establishing relationships with potential and existing cliental;
Constructively handle responses to customer inquiries in a time sensitive manner;
Provide and/or arrange sales training, seminars, or programs on topics such as, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, sales support, best practices in processing contracts, etc.;
Schedule and attend regular sales meetings with the sales team;
Support recruiting, and training a sales team;
Review Customer Log with individual sales associate. Identify trends, identify and support sales associate in situations where additional assistance might be needed;
Work with senior management, to establish and control budgets related to sales promotions;
Attend industry related functions, and networking events;
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;
3-5 years of progressive sales experience,
Ability to work in a team environment and possesses a strong desire to win;
An understanding of customer and market dynamics;
Analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information;
Strong client relationship management skills;
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities;
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Valid Driver’s license;
Showhome hours are Monday to Thursday 2:00pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Work and functions outside of showhomes hours will be required. Periodic travel may be required.
