Behaviour Matters is seeking an individual to work part-time as a Contract Psychologist. We take a holistic approach, considering the child and family as a whole and working in partnership with their wider team when needed. We’re a passionate group of therapists who build strong relationships with our kids and their families and internally as a team. We are committed to providing and creating a unique experience and space for our clients to feel supported, understood, and comforted.

Psychologist Description and Responsibilities:

The successful candidates for this position will have experience delivering psychological services in a clinical setting with children and youth and will be able to provide psychological assessment, consultation, supervision, and programming services.

Job Qualifications:

  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
  • 2-3 years of assessment experience
  • Supervision of group and individual therapists an asset but not necessary
  • Must have experience working with children, teens, and families in a clinical setting
  • Must have experience working with children/teens with behavioral and/or emotional exceptionalities (ADHD, ASD, GAD, LD. ODD)
  • Experience in CBT, DBT, SFT, behavioral therapy, play therapy
  • Experience providing consultation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Must have valid Police Record Check and VSC
  • Experience with Teletherapy and creating a successful virtual experience
