While reporting to the Plant Manager, you are accountable for the following:
Work safe and lead safety teams.
Member of SPS steering team.
Pillar lead for Supply Chain SPS team.
Serve on teams or facilitate teams as required for SPS and other improvement efforts.
Conducts SOP/JSA/EI instructions/procedures training
Establishes short-term, intermediate and long-range performance goals and work objectives for direct reports.
Manage direct reports /department– shipping receiving, purchasing and production planner (scheduling).
Ensures productivity goals are met.
Coordinate production schedules with customer service, sales, operations and other company facilities to meet customer delivery dates and times.
Establish and maintain inventory control procedures, records, logs, and files.
Maintain inventory control systems and manage the working capital investment.
Maintain items masters for accuracy – labels/master estimates/packing and specs.
Plan for smooth transition of new business.
4 year degree in business, logistics, supply chain or management preferred.
5+ years of experience in flexible printing industry required.
Supervisory experience required.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft office) required.
