The Halifax location of Harding Medical is now looking for an E-Commerce Specialist who will be responsible for the content development, inventory management, pricing and distribution of product sold through the Harding Medical website. By using an industry standard approach and content management, the E-Commerce Specialist ensures that the Harding Medical website attracts purchases of home medical equipment and mobility devices.
The successful candidate will have the ability to produce a user experience and interactive purchasing experience to engage the varied customers of Harding Medical. An imaginative, organized, self-motivated individual working in a collaborative effort with web design staff and marketing, the E-Commerce Specialist will manage the e-commerce experience for our customers
Ensure that the product mix is current and meeting the needs of Harding Medical and its customers
Maintain the inventory base and selling prices for each product
Investigate trends related to product and competition and bring forward innovative ideas
Work with sales, purchasing, and marketing to ensure the content is appropriate
Use Customer Relationship Management to build lasting relationships with customers
Keep up-to-date with e-commerce trends and potential new strategies
Play a key role in collaboration with the team and provide advice to effective online strategies
Use SEO, online advertisements and other internet-based marketing requirements
Monitor the effectiveness of online advertising and marketing using analytical tools
Implement and manage various email campaigns, including design templates, call-to-actions, and content
Analyze data and develop reports on marketing activities and effectiveness
Follow corporate policies and procedures for all aspects of branding, content and use-ability
Manage multiple priorities, schedules, cost effectiveness and quality standards
Perform other duties as required
Degree or certificate in a related field from a recognized institution is preferred; or equivalent levels of relevant education and experience may be substituted
Minimum of 2 years of strategic e-commerce experience
In-depth knowledge of social network advertising
Project management experience is considered an asset
Proven self-started who works well as part of a team and independently
Adaptable, versatile, and possess a positive attitude
Imaginative, innovative and the ability to “think outside of the box”
