Reports to the Manager, Potash Rail Operations.

What you will do:
Ensure optimal rail car utilization while providing timely service to our customers, both external and internal
Track and trace loaded and empty rail cars
Monitor rail car cycle times, analyze cycle time data and supporting reporting as needed
Gather eta's & other information from rail carriers
Handle problems and take corrective action with rail carriers as required
Communicate with various stakeholders including railways, customer service, mine sites and sales managers as needed
Process rail diversions and rebills as required by changing business needs
Complete reporting on rail transit times
Maintain the accuracy of rail car locations and report on these as necessary
Some travel may be required to complete the responsibilities described above

What you will bring:
University degree in Operations Management or other equivalent program
Minimal experience required however transportation and/or mining experience would be considered an asset
Profession designation in the logistics and supply chain field would be considered an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
Strong interpersonal skills focused on customer service while optimizing costs
Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strength in excel (pivot tables, graphs, charts)
