Reporting to the Program Manager for Tertiary & Residential services at Alberta Hospital Edmonton, the Unit Manager will work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide administrative and clinical support and direction to 8-2B – a psychiatric rehabilitation unit that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities. In this role, you will promote optimal patient care executed within the context of the unit and program goals. Essential to this leadership role is the use of effective communication with site leadership, physicians, staff, patients, families, government and other programs within Addiction & Mental Health.

Graduate of a recognized Health Discipline. Minimum one year related supervisory or leadership experience. Minimum two years’ current relevant clinical experience. Active Health Discipline Registration. Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum three years related supervisory or leadership experience. Previous experience in the field of Addictions and Mental Health and/or working with clients with intellectual disabilities or complex behaviors.
