Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d'un analyste en contrôle de projets évoluer avec notre équipe. Nous recherchons un étudiant ou récent diplomée qui a des bonnes connaissances en Microsoft Project et en création de macros en Microsoft Xcel, qui à un intérêt de carrière en gestion de contrôle de projets. Cette personne sera responsable de travailler sur des analyses de composantes de turbines à gas, et sera important pour la croissance continuelle de notre entreprise.

EASi has over 35 years' experience in engineering services and launched its Canadian operations in 2015, having experienced significant growth year over year since then. EASi Montreal supports multiple clients in a variety of industries and is based out of a state-of-the-art engineering center in Ville Saint-Laurent. We are currently looking to hire an Engineering intern who will support our Operations and Project teams. This person will initially be hired in a contractual role but will have exposure to multiple other long-term opportunities with the organization.

The Project Controls Intern (PCI) is a key member of the EASi Delivery Quad. The PCI works closely with the EASi Delivery and/or Program Manager and/or the Project Controls Group to provide support for project management, control, tracking, reporting and visibility for EASi's management team and end clients. The EASi PCI's primary responsibility is to support the PCG to ensure all projects and project-based work is set up, structured and documented, to deliver accurate and effective tracking of project schedules, resources and budgets against established control objectives. The PCI supports the maintenance of a roster of all resources to include skills, competencies and certifications. They will be responsible to support the tracking and reporting of current and anticipated utilization of resources. The PCI relies on their knowledge, and understanding of Engineering services procurement, delivery, and billing workflow to proactively identify, resolve, and/or escalate, issues as needed.

Success in this role requires curiosity, a proactive mindset, eagerness and willingness to learn, and attention to detail. This person will be delivering high quality documentation, processes and procedures that will improve productivity, increase quality and ensure timely deliverables with limited oversight. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Project Controls Intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

PROJECT SET UP - Assist the Delivery, Project and/or Program Manager with Project Set Up

  • Establishes the PCG "Project Files" to meet EASi requirements, client requirements, and satisfy Control Objectives
  • Collects, organizes, stores and maintains all project related documentation. i.e. SOWs, PO's, Change Orders, etc…
  • Assists in project estimation as required

WORKFLOW - Manage Project Workflow - Process Purchase or Work Orders, Change Orders, etc...

  • Maintains subject matter expertise on end-to-end project workflow (client procurement initiation to EASi cash application)
  • Accepts, validates and processes new work (PO's, SOWs, etc...)
  • Sets up new work or client change orders in the appropriate EASi systems and notifies all impacted parties
  • Ensures communication and distribution of new work to all relevant EASi parties

TRACK RESOURCES - Support Tracking Project Resources

  • Maintains a roster of current resources, by their department, skills, and competencies
  • Assists Project Manager with resource availability forecasting and skill alignment
  • Tracks resource certifications by type and expiry

TRACK TIME - Support Tracking and Reporting Project Time

  • Collect, track, process and report Project Time against estimates
  • Allocate reported time against appropriate tasks
  • Assist and collaborate with EASi Back-Office teams to ensure accurate invoicing
  • Create, run and deliver Project Time reporting as required

PROJECT DOCUMENTATION - Maintains Project Management Documentation

Support the maintenance all Project Management related documentation (as appropriate) to include but not limited to:

  • Project Management Plan, Schedule, Stakeholder Register, Scope, Budget, Risk Plan, HR Plan, Quality Plan Project Monitor & Control documentation
  • Recurring Project Status Reports and Project Action Item Lists

REPORTING - Support Project Reporting

  • Performs project analysis and provides reports to project manager for:
  • Project status - actuals versus estimates and Earned-Value Mgmt. (EVM)
  • Cumulative project summaries for cost, time and resource usage
  • Project accruals for cost and time
  • Resource assignment: scheduled and availability
  • Project information required to support invoicing as needed

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BCOM or Engineering Degree, OR be a 3rd-4th year student in one of these programs

Requisite Abilities and Skills:

  • Ability to support multiple projects and at least 3 project managers concurrently
  • Highly proficient in MS Office suite of tools a must; very high proficiency required in MS
  • Working knowledge of the following (Experience is an asset):

o Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Project Information Systems (PIS)

o Project Controls concepts and practices

o Project Scheduling concepts and practices

o Project Reporting - Project Status and Earned Value

o Project Management - Managing the Triple Constraint - Cost, Time, Quality

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; daily communication with project teams
  • Bilingual English and French
  • Team player with ability to work in a highly cross-functional and virtual environment

Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
