.What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will manage the day to day operational needs of the Proxy Services team. This includes the timely and accurate processing of all proxies and associated daily entries as well the workflow management of the team. Your attention to detail, focus on superior quality and strong analytical skills will make you an excellent candidate for the role. You will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as the role grows and develops.

What will you do?

Ensure quality of service delivered is in line with the SLAs in place and superior quality, timeliness and cost effective of information delivery to internal and external clients
Effectively manage the relationship between the group and key internal departments to balance service, risk, efficiency and staff well being
Ensure optimal use of financial and people resources to manage volumes and changes in practice or product development
Maintenance of satisfactory internal and external audit, regulatory, risk ratings and reviews
Maintain checks and balances to ensure all procedures and control functions are adequate to minimize financial loss to RBC I&TS and its clients
Ensure all internal client inquiries and concerns are responded to in an accurate, professional and timely manner

What do you need to succeed?


Advanced MS Office skills, specifically for Excel
Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills with a strong sense of urgency
1-2 years of experience in a similar role in the financial industry
University/College degree or equivalent work experience


Canadian Securities Course
Knowledge of experience with custody systems
People management experience
Excel skills that include the developing of Macro’s and VBA programs
