eCommerce Operations Department Manager leads, drives, and developed the online grocery business, picks and delivers purchases for customer pick-up, and supports the store.
Primary responsibilities are listed below. Other responsibilities may be assigned. • Participates in the recruitment, selection, training and development of all online grocery fullfilment Associates. • Leads Associates by communicating operational direction and initiatives. Drives engagement, recognizes and rewards accomplishments and provides opportunities for professional growth. Identifies high-potential associates, providing training and development to increase capability. • Acts as role model demonstrating the importance of high quality standards, accuracy and adhering to strict safety and food hygiene standards necessary for customer satisfaction. • Coordinates activities of online grocery fullfilment Associates while involving them in total box operations. Additionally, acts as a champion to inform and involve all store Associates with the online grocery business. • Assists in the pick and load process as required by business needs through efficiently picking and assembling orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers. • Executes and monitors asset protection and safety controls; maintains quality assurance standards; oversees safety and operational reviews while ensuring compliance with Walmart policies and procedures and with established safety, security, sales, financial and record keeping procedures and practices. Anticipates and proactively responds to compliance issues, including shrink control. • Exhibits behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes including but not limited to operational procedures, productivity standards and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions and quality standards. • Demonstrates flexibility in completing /adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules and the needs of the business.
