The first group of applicants will be assessed in May 2017 and the assessments can take place during the day, evening or weekend. It is your responsibility to make yourself available for all testing and interview dates for which you will be invited.

Please note that the assessments will only be rescheduled under exceptional circumstances with supporting evidence (e.g. medical reason with doctor’s certificate, death in the immediate family, pre-approved travel plans, religious reason, participation in an assessment for another selection at the same time). Failure to attend the assessments without good reason will be construed as a withdrawal from the appointment process.

By joining this team, you will evolve within a stimulating environment, where the heart of our mission is the service to the citizens. As a BENEFITS OFFICER you will, among other things, be responsible of:

  • Reviewing and analyzing applications for benefit payments;
  • Conducting varied research with clients and employers to gather information, validate facts and discrepancies, and process applications in accordance with procedures and guidelines;
  • Rendering payment decisions with respect to eligibility, entitlement to benefits in applying applicable acts, regulations and jurisprudence
  • Responding to enquiries from various stakeholders and the general public on all aspects of employment insurance;
  • Participating in team meeting’s exchanges of constructive ideas in a purpose of continuous improvement.

  • Situated in the building Gilles-Marceau, in a community of more than 700 employees, one of the biggest federal buildings in the East of the Québec!
  • Environment watched permanently to insure the well-being of its occupants;
