As a Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst, you support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and upgrading computer networks, management systems and database servers in accordance with the organization’s needs.
You draw on your ability to work with technology and anticipate innovation to help develop, standardize and roll out medium- to large-scale IT systems, programs and applications. You analyze client and partner needs and influence decisions on project-specific IT solutions and information systems. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to stay on schedule and meet objectives. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work
You will assist in implementing development solutions or patches, for which the ability to manage complexity is critical. You will be required to interact with stakeholders working in complementary, technology-related fields.
You will advise and provide system support for clients and practitioners.
Analyze the functional and non-functional specifications of business managers for requests relating to application and system development or upgrades.
Develop execution strategies and analyze, design and document programs and applications in keeping with best practices and with a view to continuous improvement. Develop/configure programs or applications based on the needs and specifications of business managers, business requirements and deadlines. May be called on to participate in the rollout delivery strategy.
Make estimates for development activities. Participate, when called upon, in planning and making estimates for more complex projects.
Participate in developing testing strategies. Carry out quality control and testing.
Participate in discussion groups or forums to exchange information. Work closely with suppliers and internal partners.
Assess the impacts of changes to other, existing applications, tools and systems, and recommend solutions.
May be called on to serve as a resource person for colleagues on the use and improvement of tools, as well as the application and updating of best practices.
Prepare and give presentations to colleagues and users.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of four years of relevant experience
Experience in business intelligence
