As a Warehouse Technician, you help purchase or rent goods and services for the organization. You may be responsible for one or more sub-specialties, such as the sourcing and procurement of goods and services, asset management, contract and partnership management, inventory and restocking, outsourced service management, and governance.

You serve as technical collaborator and provide discipline-specific support for your unit’s activities, initiatives and processes. The ability to tailor your approach as needed is therefore essential. You research and analyze processes, information management and data processing.

You draw on your sound decision-making skills to solve technical problems and help develop and improve methods and procedures.

You serve as resource person for practitioners and unit employees.

Additional responsibilities

Manage IT equipment in the warehouse
Receive and store equipment in a secure manner
Deliver required equipment to desktop technicians, based on demand
Perform physical inventories at the warehouse and at our other sites on a daily basis
Prepare equipment to be delivered to our various drop-off points
Keep the warehouse clean and functional
Clean computers and accessories so they may be reused

Other working conditions

This work requires lifting and handling equipment, pallet movers, etc.
Travel to our various sites in Montreal (downtown) )

College diploma in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge

Independent speaker, intermediate knowledge of English
