NVIT anticipates a requirement for an Associate Registrar/Manager of Campus Operations at our Vancouver campus, and invites applications from qualified individuals. This will be an excluded, ongoing position with an anticipated start date of September 1, 2020.

Job Summary:
This position is directly accountable to the Associate Vice President, Students, SEM & Registrar for managing the daily operations of specific functional areas within the Enrolment Services office including project management and supervision of staff. In accordance with the institute’s established policies and procedures, this position will also be responsible for the overall management of support services and ensures the efficient operations of the physical facilities of the Vancouver Campus.

The position will ensure high quality, efficient and consistent learner-centred services to students in the areas of prospects, admissions and assessment, financial and academic planning, registration, records and will also be responsible for planning and reporting on community based assessments. This position will also coordinate and supervise Vancouver campus support staff and functions related to campus level financial, human resources, enrolment, facilities, bookstore, integrated system services and campus computing/communications systems.

The Associate Registrar/Manager of Campus Operations is a leader, collaborator, facilitator and administrator within the department and working across the institution with colleagues, students, and community partners to achieve the objectives of NVIT. This person is expected to be hands-on-individual who will not only oversee day to day operations but will have the ability to complete many of the operational duties. The Manager will have the ability to provide campus-wide leadership, enable employee success and engage employees while maintaining the well-being of the Institute. The Manager is also a representative at Enrolment Services and Strategic Enrolment Management committee meetings, and must develop and maintain relationships with external clients and contacts.
