We are a growing construction company looking for a part time Office Administrator to join our team. Our head office is in Port Kells.

We’re looking for someone who is adaptable, organized and who enjoys performing a variety of different tasks.

General office tasks

  • Maintenance of employee and company records
  • Create and maintain a filing system for all project documentation
  • Managing Social Media Accounts and website
  • Assist the bookkeeper with data and file management
  • Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process
  • Post openings, screens candidates, schedules interviews
  • Conduct reference checks on possible candidates when required.
  • Participate in onboarding process
  • Provides support to employees and makes sure all their requests are answered

The right candidate will have the following skills:

  • Self-starter and able to work independently
  • Able to follow instructions in a timely fashion
  • Able to work independently
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Social media, communication and computer skills mandatory
  • Minimum two years related office/administration experience
  • HR experience an asset, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 to $20.00 /hour

Experience:

  • administrative assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
