We are looking for a talented and versatile individual to join our mergers and acquisitions team, reporting to the Vice-President, Corporate Development and Chief Legal Officer. Our Corporate Development Group is responsible for identifying acquisition targets and evaluating and executing acquisitions worldwide, based on Mediagrif's strategic priorities. Responsibilities for this position include the identification of acquisition targets, market analysis, competitive analysis, industry trends, financial modeling and due diligence support associated with mergers and acquisitions. You must be familiar with technology and financial analysis and possess excellent communication skills.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Build and monitor a database of potential technology acquisition targets that meet Mediagrif's acquisition criteria;
Perform technological, operational and financial analysis of potential targets;
Produce research reports for the M&A team;
Attend trade shows to identify potential acquisition targets;
Participate in the due diligence exercise of identified targets.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Bachelor's degree in Administration/Finance/Programming or other relevant discipline;
One to three (1 to 3) years of relevant experience;
Knowledge of the technology industry;
Very familiar with financial analysis;
Experience with mergers and acquisitions an asset;
Very good oral and written communication skills (French and English);
Ability to work under pressure with deadlines;
Meticulous and precise in his work;
Organizational skills and professionalism;
Autonomous, resourceful, creative;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel - intermediate/advanced).
