Description :
We are currently looking for many educator to fill a part-time or full time replacement on the recall list at the Batshaw Youth and Family Centers (Prevost and Montreal).

Person who works directly with users to ensure their education and rehabilitation in an institutional or external setting, depending on the intervention programs established in collaboration with the team of professional in place, in order to foster the rehabilitation of individuals or their reintegration into society. She/he applies education techniques involving daily life activities by organizing, coordinating and conducting programmed activities that are aimed at helping these individuals learn and acquire proper attitudes and behaviours.
She/he observes and analyzes the behaviour of the users, participates in the evaluation of their needs and abilities, and records their progress in written reports. She/he is responsible for programming her/his own activities.

Requirements :
  • Hold a DEC with specialization in special education techniques, correctional intervention services or an undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline;
  • Have six (6) months of experience working with children;
  • Want to work day, evening and 1 weekend out of two;
  • Be bilingual (mainly English-speaking customers);
  • Having a valid driver's license and having a car would be an asset.
*** Minimum availability: 2 shifts per week, 1 weekend out of two. During the summer period, be available at least 3 shifts per week.
