New Product Introduction (NPI) Sourcing is looking for top notch procurement professional who is looking to make a difference helping get our Space, and Sensors and Navigation development programs started on the right track.

In this role, you will support and execute our sourcing strategy, develop supplier partnerships, engage and select suppliers, negotiate the best value deal, manage suppliers to meet program requirements and agreements, get new parts on contract, help us drive our trust reputation for performance, ensure our parts are producible, and help plan and drive transition development programs to production.

You will help ensure our suppliers have a seat at the design table through early supplier engagement (ESE) collaboration between Engineering, Integrated Supplier Chain (ISC), and our Suppliers, to ensure our purchased parts are producible with quality and lowest cost.

You will work directly with a Sourcing Program Manager (SPM) and NPI Engineer, Design Engineering, Program Managers, Material Planners, and Quality. You will report directly to the Director, NPI Sourcing, Space, Nav and Sensors.

This position is located at our Cambridge, Ontario, Canada site.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor Degree or 5 plus years of procurement experience
5 + years of expertise in Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
Ability to secure or possess a Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance to access our Honeywell facilities in Cambridge.

Bachelor's Degree BS or BA, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Administration
Experience with subcontract compliance with public laws, policies, federal acquisition regulations, and import/export requirements
Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements, as well as standard Terms and Conditions)
Ability to prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes) to suppliers, follow-up to assure understanding
Ability to review quotes, analyze results and determine negotiation plans / strategies as well as addressing any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes or Honeywell terms and conditions requirements.
Expedite orders when required to ensure on-time shipments
Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same.
Must be able to deploy a systematic approach to work and must have an aptitude for performing work functions in a timely and well-organized manner with limited oversight.
Adapt to constantly changing work assignments, consistently make timely decisions while balancing conflicting goals with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up-like atmosphere.
Ability to clearly and concisely conveys subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences, both written and verbal.
Expert knowledge of Aerospace commodities, customers, supply base
