Who are we seeking to join our team?
We are currently seeking a “Marketing Specialist” to join our team at the North York head office. As a Marketing Specialist, you will assist the Marketing team in managing Comwave’s Digital Marketing presence. advertising creative using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as work closely with the VP of Marketing to collect and analyze data in order to optimize campaign performance and media buying. In this role, you will be responsible for data entry and analysis, as well as assisting in the development of and editing elements of the Comwave corporate website and marketing materials. You must have a strong knowledge of Google Business Manager and Google Analytics.
You will contribute to the team by performing the following:
Input and analyze marketing data, including internal reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics reports
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
Design, create, and deliver marketing initiatives for Comwave products and services through digital advertising using various media forms such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Work with Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager in analyzing metrics, identifying trends, and optimizing performance for Comwave’s online marketing campaigns
Maintenance of Comwave’s internal and external websites utilizing HTML and CSS in WordPress and Dreamweaver
Coordination and implementation of marketing communication projects to support the growth and expansion of company products and services in multiple mediums including retail, digital, event, advertising and public relations
Organize the preparation of marketing materials such as brochures, website and client communications. Prepare and analyze status reports on marketing effort
Develop sales presentations and promotions, provide reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, and pricing
Oversee Department requests and general Marketing initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
What do you bring to the team?
Post-Secondary education in Marketing and/or Digital Marketing
Demonstrated experience with Digital Media development and social media
Fluent in SEO, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights
Strong working knowledge of PC applications including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
Experienced in coding in HTML/CSS
Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, as well as collaborate across departments
Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail
