More About the Job
Performing site checks, gathering pertinent information (measurements, layouts, anticipating issues, design or fabrication limitations) for use in design and production departments.
Installation of signs and architectural products using techniques and methods appropriate to situation
Using heavy equipment (aerial lifts, bucket trucks, etc) on installations
Installing vinyl elements with great attention to quality of finished product
Maintaining and keeping in good repair all installation tools and accessories
Troubleshooting sign malfunction and unforeseen installation issues and choosing appropriate courses of action to complete scheduled installs
Take great care in preventing accidental damage of product leading up to/during install
Wiring of lighting components for led, neon and fluorescent lights
Able to lift up to 45kg (100lbs)
Responsible and cost effective purchasing of hardware and tools as needed
Driving company owned vehicle to client locations – clean driving record
Assisting in fabrication department as needed to meet deadlines
General shop maintenance and cleaning, keeping installer’s tool area tidy and organized
Provide detailed post-mortem reports for invoicing and procedure improvement purposes
