Finance Assistant (Part-Time)
Lustre Products is a North American manufacturer and supplier of elevator parts. We are currently looking to fill the role of Finance Assistant. - 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday)…. 3 day weekends, every weekend.
- Part-Time: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with consideration for flexible Part-Time schedule.
Position Overview:
The Finance Assistant is a part of the Finance team and will work closely with Management and other departments. The position will be the day-to-day point of contact on accounts payables, invoice entry, and vendor inquiries while providing administrative support in payroll and benefits. The position will be part of an ongoing digital transformation, as well as other office/admin support duties.
Responsibilities:
- Process invoices with accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Assist with Payroll administration and processing
- Provide project and data analysis support when required
- Oversee administration of benefit programs
- Various day to day office administration duties as required
- File system maintenance
Qualifications:
- Completion of a finance-related degree or diploma would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing organization is an asset.
- Working knowledge of financial accounting would be advantageous.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a good eye for detail.
- Proactive, dependable, organized, and strong attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
