We are looking for:

A sharp, experienced accountant with a passion for crunching numbers and producing accurate results. You’re highly organized and have strong communication skills to lead the team. You love preparing financial statements and look for continuous improvements to the full accounting cycle each month. You thrive on financial analysis and presenting accurate statements to Management along with your business recommendations. This isn’t just an accounting role, it’s your passion.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Timely preparation of monthly financial statements for two entities.
  • Detailed financial statement analysis and communication of results to Senior Management.
  • Coordinating and improving processes and procedures with the accounting team.
  • Reporting of weekly cash flows and projections.
  • Preparing proforma financial statements and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and legislated requirements.
  • Assisting the Controller with various matters such as insurance, banking, HSE and legal.
  • Understanding and maintaining data within the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics SL).
  • Coordination of the annual audit and communication of results and analysis.
  • Reviewing internal controls and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Developing relationships with department and field office managers and personnel.

Skills required for success in this role:

  • Accounting Designation with at least 5 years post designation experience
  • Prior experience in full cycle accounting and financial statement preparation
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables
  • Ability to learn new software and utilize its potential
