No, this isn’t one of those ordinary jobs.

If you are driven and motivated to become part of a dynamic team, we have an opening for a Spare Parts Coordinator in Mississauga, ON . Reporting to the Service Manager , you will coordinate with service teams and customers to ensure spare parts availability meets the needs of the business.

Your responsibilities may include:
Ensure Field Service teams have the required spare parts available to service their respective areas.
Create / Input / Approve / Process Customer Orders and Work orders.
Quote parts and services.
Liaise with Purchasing and Finance teams to ensure proper processing of Purchase Orders and Work Orders. Obtain authorization where required before processing.
Ensure proper Accounts Receivable has been processed before moving out parts.
Provide administrative and logistics support for the Field Service team.
Employ basic knowledge of effective project management and general business understanding.
Identify, track and work with others to resolve issues.
Identify new leads for new sales based on age of old equipment that needs replacing.

Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
Must have a High School Diploma.

Experience:
Strong working knowledge of an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (i.e. SAP, IFS).
Must have strong Mechanical and Electrical understanding.
Preference will be given to candidates who can read / interpret engineering drawings.
Proven experience working with Parts in a Service Environment is preferred.
Strong understanding of different Mechanical and Electrical parts / components.
Must be detail oriented.
Strong computer skills are required.
Must have well developed interpersonal skills as well as the ability to follow established processes.
