The Plains Human Resources (HR) team is actively searching for a professional and energetic Talent Acquisition Analyst to be based in our downtown Calgary office. This position will actively support a wide variety of candidate sourcing, screening, and selection across Canada. The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic supporter of early talent programs and interested in continuing to develop, enhance and engage our Intern talent pipeline within Plains. We encourage applications from individuals who have recently graduated (2-5 years) from similar Intern programs, can relate easily to our student population and are interested in growing their career within our dynamic HR team environment.
Support and guide the entire recruitment process through intake, requisition creation, screening, scheduling of interviews, short listing of candidates, onboarding, orientation, and performance calibration;
Act as a primary contact for career centers, campus ambassadors, prospective students, associations, as well as campus referrals;
Execute on our defined project schedule for intern placements;
Facilitate and ensure a steady flow of communication to and from team members and internal clients updating them on hiring projects' progress following the governance established;
Efficiently utilize our best-in-class technology (video pre-screening, automated reference checking, Workday applicant tracking system, and eskills assessments);
Provide metrics, analytics, reports and participate in reviews of existing processes
Complete required Workday Job Change process for internal talent moves;
Provide administrative support within Talent Acquisition and broader HR team on where requested.
Post-secondary degree or diploma in related field, or the equivalent of education and experience;
Excellent communication, organizational, project management and prioritization skills to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment that demands excellence;
Preference will be given to candidates who have 2-3 years corporate recruitment experience (including internships) within an HR department;
Preference will be given to candidates who have hands-on experience with applicant tracking software (ATS), as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS); such as Workday;
Systems thinking individuals with the ability to understand our Hiring Manager’s operations and objectives;
Proven flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business conditions.
