The ideal candidate for the Sales Analyst Summer Student position is a 2nd year or higher Sales and/or Marketing student or intern with demonstrated skills using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and preferably has knowledge of a CRM systems, sales forecasting software, and database management.
Support sales and marketing by cold-calling to gather customer and competitive data, creating reports about customer buying trends, vendor relationships, validate customer IT needs, etc.
Working alongside and providing support/advise to the Marketing, and Sales departments, attending and participating during sales strategy meetings, providing assistance with customer relationship manager (CRM) system data upkeep
This role will be part of a small team, remotely working together. There will be no need to commute to an office location.
Being able to speak confidently and articulately in front of a group of Sales professionals, conveying complex information to a broad audience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills: Communicating clearly, both in writing and verbally (English is mandatory, French would be an asset), including writing sales reviews and reports
Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Being resourceful, energetic, driven, structured, and displaying a strong desire to take initiative
Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills, and being proactive and goal-oriented
