Job Requirements

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate

Experience: 5 years or more

Ability to supervise staff in various areas of responsibility

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is not available

Work Location Information: Rural area, Willing to relocate, Relocation costs not covered by employer

Additional Skills: Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory, Analyze operating costs and other data. Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods, Requisition food and kitchen supplies. Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions. Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food

Executive Chef Specific Skills: Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards. Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, Recruit and hire staff. Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions. Estimate food requirements and food and labour costs. Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.

Food Specialties: Meat, poultry and game; Bakery goods and desserts; Stocks, Soups and Sauces

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Cook Trade Certification
