The Food Service Worker I performs a variety of duties in relation to the preparation and distribution of meals. Portions and serves meals according to posted procedure, or as directed by cook or supervisor. Washes dishes and utensils. Scrubs pots, pans and related accessories. Cleans kitchen and dining areas.
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Food Safe Certificate.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
