The administrative assistant must provide clerical assistance to the entire management team of a retirement home. There are, among other things, writing and transcribing correspondence, updating various administrative forms, monitoring the receipt of sales figures, compiling and producing monthly reports, performing data transfers, performing updates from different databases on Excel. He or she can also answer and distribute telephone calls, open and distribute mail as well as answer customers, suppliers and residents. He or she may be called upon to collect rents, prepare deposits, leases and work orders.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide a high level of customer service
Assist your immediate superior and other team members with their daily tasks and administrative duties
Follow up on dossiers, monitor schedules, issue reminders and obtain requested information in a timely manner in keeping with established time limits
Maintain the different registers
Participate in special projects when assigned to you
Perform other related duties
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
A working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software
High school diploma (SSD)
Ease in the use of computer tools
