The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Build BI reporting solutions using BI technologies such Microstrategy, SSRS, OBIEE, Python, AI/ML, Big data, Predictive analytics, .net/Java, Chat bot, Mobile reporting
Design and develop Cubes and reports based upon the business requirements provided by the business team. This will require investigating and learning various internal data models
Extend the data model to support requested reports by extending entity relationships and/or attributes for technology such as SQL Server, Oracle, Big data
Tune Metadata, Reporting, and relational implementation to ensure excellent response times for on-line reports
Quality assure report output and response times meet business requirements
Document and manage all documentation and code utilized to define, create and deploy report sets
Support AdHoc requests for reports and report writing assistance by business line
Write and maintain data flows, process flows, tech specs at all times using various tools such as Visio, Microsoft office tools.
7+ Years of experience in designing BI solutions including MicroStrategy, OBIEE, .net/Java, Python, AI/ML,
Experience in DWH & ETL development in Oracle, SQL Server and Big data platform is a plus
Must be Self Starter, independent and strong team player working with various teams across timezones
Excellent in MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation ,maintenance and Report development
Very strong SQL skills
Strong hands-on experience in building robust faced paced solutions
exposure of any one ETL tools will - Informatica, Oracle ODI, Qlikview, MS- SSIS, SSRS
Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
Able to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities;
Attention to Detail

Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
