Our highly respected and growing dental practice is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Dental Assistant. We have a wonderful office, a fantastic patient population, an enthusiastic team, and sincere dentists dedicated to quality care. The successful candidate will assist our doctors in performing basic and advanced dental procedures, and maintaining complex client records with utmost confidentiality. The incumbent will also ensure the examination rooms are kept clean and assist during patient appointments at all levels.

The ideal candidate for this position has certification as a Level I or Level II Dental Assistant as well as HARP certification. Experience working with patients of all ages is in an established dental office is an asset. We are seeking an individual who is well presented, has excellent communication skills and believe in top-notch customer service. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of being reliable, energetic, lots of common sense and enjoys making a difference in the lives of others. This person is friendly, highly organized and works well with all personality types. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated; self-managed and brings solutions to the problem.

  • Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place
  • Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
  • Assist the doctor chairside in the performance of routine and more complicated surgical procedures.
  • Provide support to dentists, surgeons and staff as needed
  • Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health.
  • Assist during consultations and in the explanation of treatment plans to patients.
  • Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a surgically clean work environment.


  • High School diploma or leaving certificate
  • Successful completion of a dental assistant program from a recognized institution (Level I or II with HARP certification preferred)
  • 1+ years’ experience as a Dental Assistant
  • Comprehensive understanding of dental instruments
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of computer programs such as MS Office
