Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting monthly sales quotas by proactively seeking contracts, preparing job proposals with cost estimates, managing accounts and developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Prepare and deliver presentations for prospective customers
- Negotiate prices and other job proposal terms
- Prepare booking packages
- Contact existing or new prospective customers to maintain and increase customer base
- Visit job sites to check the status of current job or to determine scope of prospective job
- Review and complete appropriate paperwork after job has been completed
- Investigate complaints from customers
- Attend out of town sales meetings and/or regional trainings
- Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly report
- Performs other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of Sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships
- Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and achieve goals and objectives
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled by inherent ability to sell to customer needs
- Proven ability to manage conflict, coupled by the ability to work collaboratively
- Proven ability to seek out new business / customer opportunities
- Work as part of a localized team and build both internal and external relationships in small and medium sized markets
- Utilize your existing knowledge and relationships in the local communities to grow our existing customer base
Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated an ability to work independently and are experienced with the nuances of working in the Northern Regions in either the service or in the industrial sectors.
**Extensive Travel within the geographic area of responsibility is a core requirement of this position.
**Ability to work remotely from your home office location in Northern BC or the Yukon.
