Job description

We are looking for an intuitive, friendly, and charismatic, upbeat personality to fill our Front Desk/Customer Service Representative part-time position. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day studio operations, including ensuring optimal customer service, troubleshooting when needed, and promoting an encouraging environment for both staff and clients. Someone who will blend into our positive and welcoming studio environment will do best with this position. Some of the duties involved with this job position include: greeting customers, monitoring class check-in, answering calls and emails, paying attention to small details, quickly learning how to use our Mindbody software, and other general receptionist duties.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong emphasis on good intuitive skills towards sales and promotions, customers, and staff.
  • Must be able to “read” people in varying situations and handle them accordingly.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Internet/Web, and Social Media).
  • Strong organizational and efficiency skills to be able to operate all receptionist duties (including greeting and helping customers, selling packages, ensuring studio cleanliness).
  • Fair understanding of yoga and the yoga industry is preferred although not required.
  • Highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
