Duties and responsibilities
As a key member of the Metro Group/Super C customer business teams, you will work with your customer teams to plan and develop buyer loyalty programs for our brands. You will ensure that your customers’ agendas are clearly understood by the marketing team and that the category’s program is clearly understood by internal and external clients.
As a Marketing Specialist, (Shopper Activation Specialist), you will:
Develop marketing activation plans for the banner that incorporate large-scale brand activities and customer-specific initiatives (in store and online)
Create a commercial platform for new launches and initiatives that incorporates the customer’s strategies as well as ideas from buyers and consumers
Develop and communicate online and in-store execution standards specific to the region and commercial materials for the banner and for field sales in your region (Quebec and Ontario)
Present new products and promotional initiatives to the customer
Develop new, mutually beneficial marketing territories in collaboration with the marketing department
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in a customer marketing, brand marketing and/or key account sales role, in a staple consumer goods environment
Bilingual (strong writing skills in French and English)
Solid computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
